Glider!

went to go pick it up on Friday and it is
perfect!



So as many of you know - I have been searching high and low for a glider and ottoman that will match our furniture and the room...and have seriously looked at hundreds of gliders. We obviously didn't want to spend an arm and a leg on a glider - thus ruling out Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel or Restoration Hardware (although in my next life as someone who is filthy rich I will get all of my furniture from one of these three places) we looked everywhere for something that was both nice and economical!

The one that I wanted from day one - has also been "out of stock" since day one and it is honestly the only one that matches! Seriously - every white glider that I looked at either had a light pink, yellow, light green or brown cushion...and no other options!

Well - in complete desperation I started looking at craigslist last week. I figured, at best, I might find one that will match and save a little money - at worst, I will at least find a white glider and we can have it re-upholstered to match the nursery. Well let me tell you - we lucked out...BIG TIME!

There was a family that was moving to Michigan and needed to get rid of most of their nursery stuff. They had the exact glider that I have been looking for since December. And it was in perfect condition! We ended up saving almost $100 and have the perfect glider for Miss Delainey's room!

I can't wait to set up the nursery and see how everything looks together...and put this glider to very good use reading, rocking and snuggling our little princess every day!
